What are your hours?
House of Ink Art Studio is open every day from 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Do I need an appointment, or do you take walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome, and you can also book ahead with a specific artist. Message us on Instagram or call/text the shop to set something up in advance.
Where are you located, and do you serve areas outside Killeen?
The studio is at 403 E Stan Schlueter Loop, Ste. 306, Killeen, TX 76542. We regularly see clients from Fort Cavazos (Fort Hood), Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, and as far out as Temple and Austin.
Can I request a specific artist, or does anyone tattoo me?
Either way works — message us if you want to book with a specific artist (Bam, Chapo, King, or Dinero) based on their portfolio, or come in and we'll match you with whoever's available.
Do you do custom designs and cover-ups?
Yes. Every piece is built as a custom design around your idea, and the team also specializes in reworking or fully covering up existing tattoos. See Tattoo Styles & Services for more.
How should I take care of a new tattoo?
General guidance: keep the initial bandage on for as long as your artist recommends, then wash gently with unscented soap, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of the aftercare product your artist suggests. Avoid direct sun, swimming, and soaking the tattoo for the first few weeks, and don't pick at any scabbing. Always follow your specific artist's aftercare instructions over general advice, since they know the piece and placement.
